the week that was…

i have this terrible headache now. same like yesterday. it’s the day after christmas, and here we are, scoping our asses off with these damn files.

bakit ba hindi pwedeng holiday din ang dec. 26? alam naman ng lahat na busy ang 25th so malamang di pa kaya pumasok ng 26th dba. hay ewan!

i haven’t had the chance to update this blog of mine for a couple of days na. naging super busy kasi with OT sa work plus the holiday errands, plus kung ano anong nangyari with me and my friends.

so here’s my update:

dec. 15. our company christmas party.

it was held at gerry’s grill in insular bldg here at paseo de roxas, makati city. i arrived sa venue a little past 6pm. ang target ko sana eh 5:30 nandon nako since i am the official photographer. ehem ehem.hahaha . this year’s theme is “strike that — ‘coz SWA goes fahionista.” o dba, pang fashion din kami.

anyways, because of traffic, na-late ako sa target time ko. pero ok lng naman kasi 7pm pa talaga ang start ng party and karamihan dumating eh past 8pm na since galing pa sila sa office at nagpaparlor muna bago pumunta sa party.

masaya naman ang party, pero hindi kasing saya last year. ngayon kasi parang buong party naka-upo lng kami. may raffle at fashion show pa. each team is required to have a representative, a male and female, para sa fashion show. for our team, SGB, it’s mitz and mikes. for AMP, it’s alvin and ivy. for the QA team, it’s terry and bonj. for the admin team, it’s nyssa and alex. we won last.hehe. pero ok lng. maraos lng ang party. our team had a photo shoot a week before the party na plano sana namin isama sa presentation while naglalakad sa catwalk si mitz at mike. but due to time constraints and lack of energy to do so, di na namin naisali.

nakakuha ulit ako ng P1k ngayon.hehe. nagdagdag kasi si sir jct ng anonther P10k, 1k each to 10 people na mabubunot. good thing nabunot ako, nabawi ko na naman ung pinambili ko ng damit ko.hehe

dec. 17-21

hay naku, ang week na to ay punong-puno ng OT! nag OT ako ng tues-thurs. choice ko naman kung magOT ako pero no choice pa din ang kinalabasan kasi di ko agad natapos ang file ko. so no choice, kundi ang magstay pa ng another two hours to finish the file. pinakamatindi dito ang OT ko nung thursday. wala talaga akong plano kasi dapat bibili ako ng mga panregalo ko kasi di ako natuloy ng wednesday dahil din sa OT. i finished my file ng 2pm and after non, i was given an alisa dorilma file. ito ang isa sa mga kliyente namin na panget ang trabaho! as in panget talaga. panget na ang transcript nya, panget pa ang audio. so anong gagawin namin, pagandahin at linisin. i stayed in the office for another 3.5 hours just to finish her file. natapos ko nman sya pero alam ko madumi pa din ang gawa ko. pero hindi nman sya nagrereklamo pa, so i guess okay naman.hehe. saka kapal ng mukha nya pag nagreklamo sya. eh kahit nga ang TL ko sabi sakin wag ko na iproofread kasi panget naman talaga…in short, wala nang solusyon.hehe

starting din nung monday eh hindi na pumasok si jel. na-ospital kasi ung tatay nya last week pa so she opted to help sa pag-aalaga sa dad nya sa ospital at sa pag-uwi sa bahay nila. she texted me nung friday, updating sa lagay ng dad nya. sabi nya may follow-up check up daw sila kinabukasan, saturday. then nagulat ako nung saturday morning, around 7:30am, she texted me na her dad passed away na daw. ang sad nga eh, kasi it’s just a few day before xmas. pero at least they got to bond with him before he left.

umuwi kami ng mauban nung sunday then balik din kami kinabukasan. ayaw kasi namin don mag-xmas kasi boring. so inagahan na lng namin tapos nag early xmas party na lng kami don with the relatives. masaya naman syempre nagkukulitan na naman kaming magpipinsan. though kulang ang saya kasi wala si tita naneth. nasa canada kasi sya. don sya nagwowork. sina ate joanne naman at tita ahleng eh nasa thailand.

dec. 25

sa bahay lng kami as usual. tinext ko nga ung mga friends ko na nagdaan na naman ang pasko na parang ordinaryong araw lng. hay naku ewan ko ba! palagi na lng ganito. hindi ko na maalala kung kelan nawala ung pagiging excited ko sa pasko. hindi nman ako grinch no, in fact i like the gift-giving part. nalampasan ko na nga cguro talaga ung stage na sobrang inaantay ang pasko. and cguro nga kasi i have my personal issues kaya hindi ko na to naeenjoy.

whatever! o well, there goes my update.

si jel kasi inintroduce pa sakin tong kantang to eh! ayan may LSS na tuloy ako. 😛

another himala!

grabe na to! since kahapon pa eh open ang internet namin dito sa office. meaning we can surf any website. i don’t know what happened to websense but we’re very happy na wala sya ngayon.hehehe

kahit papano we get to surf and relax pag mahirap ang ginagawa namin. and like me, i can write here sa blog ko anytime na may maisip ako.

sana lang pang habambuhay na to. 😀

not a happy day for mhea

in the office while chatting with jel, doing our usual exchanges of kulitan, we received a text from mhea, our other officemate friend, saying that her boyfriend broke up with her.

syempre nagulat kami ni jel, though it’s bound to happen na din because of their setup. after work, we rushed to her side to cheer her up. we met at megamall and had dinner there at red ribbon. (the cakes are delicious but i don’t recommend their meals..especially the porkchop.hehe)

anyways,  ayun while having dinner kwento si mhea about what happened, at kami naman ni jel eh nagsasabi din ng aming mga opinions. minsan dinidistract din namin si mhea para malibang libang naman sya.

after dinner eh nag-ikot ikot kami sa mega at hinanap namin ang customer service kasi bibili si jel ng tickets for the vertical horizon concert.

sa dami ng kulitan at kwentuhan namin eh di namin namamalayan ang oras. before going home, we went to krispy kreme to try it out and mag-pigout na naman.hehe. pagpila namin ni jel eh binigyan kami agad ng crew ng sample ng original glazed donuts nila, which we loved. yummy! sa sarap nya, naisipan namin ni jel na bumili ng isang box pasalubong sa bahay. six pieces lng nabili namin kasi mejo mahal sya.hehe

by 9:3o, nakasakay na ko ng bus sa ortigas going to pacita. kamusta naman ang pahinto-hinto at pag-aabang ng pasahero. pagdating ng ayala ave, almost 45 mins nakatigil ung bus kasi nag-aabang ulit ng pasahero. i should have taken the mrt to ayala para ung nasa unahang bus pa ang naabutan ko at di ako ginabi ng todo.

i got home almost 11:30pm na. kung may curfew lng ulit eh baka abutan ako.hehe.

upon getting home, don ko lng nabasa ung text ni mhea thanking me and jel for spending time with her and for cheering her up.

i know di namin natanggal ung sakit pero i hope in our little way eh we were able to take away some of the pain.

time will heal, mheamae. dito lng kami lagi. 🙂
